Today we would like to talk about materials for prosthetic uses in our human body. There is often external materials or things that are placed in the human body in order to create a piece to complete a certain function that the human body can’t complete by itself.
Like when you have an accident and some of your bones are broken and they need to place screws or when you need a new denture, you opt on getting a Dental vacations in Cancun and also opt for snap in dentures to get your mini implants. And there is also some cases that as much as you try to unite the external pieces with our human body they are just not compatible and don’t work well. At some point one of them will reject the other material and it will make the whole piece to stop working and be useless. That will result on looking to another material to try to keep the piece working.
Human body is quite complex, if the external material is not compatible at all, our immunologic system will see the material as a threat and will try to expel it. Fortunately for cosmetic dentistry and snap in dentures after many years of research a material that is very compatible with the human body was found, right now is the most common that is used. The material is called titanium grade 5 and as far as we know it is the most compatible material to use with the human body. This material is used to create the mini implants that snap in dentures will have, sometimes it is commonly used with acrylic to create the necessary material to create the perfect snap in dentures.
We wrote this article because one of the questions they ask is about if the material will adapt well and the mini implants won’t be rejected for the body. Titanium grade 5 is the best material right now and it will work perfectly for your snap in dentures, like in any treatment each body reacts in a different way, but this is for sure the best material that exists right now.
